Yer, i thought the same thing last week lol. Apparently they got some kind of codeshare going on. Its a TCX 757-200 though.
Why won’t they?
Cos then all the pax would be sat on the a/c for 3 hours waiting for some buses. 🙂
Dont know who else will be using the Stand 9 airbridge, but EK had a big part to play in it being built. With it being a daily flight, they will certainly see the most usage of it.
there is flights to Orlando in summer.
Yeh, and Toronto and Puerto Plata as well.
Also, as far as AF, KL and BA etc losing business I think they probably will. With AMS being a popular weekend break place, I wouldnt be surprised if LS started to dominate the route. As far as connections are concerned, to the East at least, I would rather fly from NCL-DXB then to wherever I am going that NCL to that godforsaken dump that is LHR, then connect somewhere else, then get to where I want to be.
Yeh, S3 is BA, 15 is often Thomsonfly etc, and can handle 763’s, not sure if anything else can fit though, and S9.
I think I read somewhere that Stand 9, the one mostly used for the A330s NCL gets in the summer can accomodate larger a/c such as the 777 but it needs to be extended towards Gate 10, reducing the a/c size limit for that gate.
Cant see EK wanting to wait God knows how long before steps arrive, then buses.
I usually book either weekly or fortnightly, depending on work. I had college exams earlier in the year, so I didnt book so much, and was relying on the summer to fly as much as possible, but that hasnt happened unfortunately.
I have 15 hours, the class 2 medical and 2 exams – air law and met so far, but I’ve been waiting around to do my solo since June. 14 attempts cancelled because of bad weather, and no available slots meant that I havent flown in ages.
Try this, it doesnt give you aircraft type, but its OK.
