how about a TSR 2 flat out and sod the ear drums the sonic bangs would be out of this world
Lancman I will try and source you a copy of the video on the blenheim through the blenheim society .
with regards to the blenheim i can assure you all that an anouncement regarding the future of the blenheim is to be made in the very near future, and it`s not bad news…………:)
ok how about a Whitley IV or V
the IV and V`s were powered by merlins and the other point of interest is the nose and tail turret had vickers VGO`s and brownings in the dustbin turret
19 OTU had mk.IV`s at Kinloss
10, 51 sqdn had V`s at dishforth
58, 78 sqdn had V`s at linton-on-ouse
77, 102 sqdn had V`s at driffield
the item in the picture is either a fuel pump or a propellor feathering pump certainly of english manufacture
if this did prove to be the aircraft it would certainly be a great find
and definately worth another look.
a pilot once told me that a single engine aircraft losing an engine is going down……..
in a twin with an engine out the second engine is only there to take you to the crash site??????????????????
nice picture shame about the twenty foot traffic cone in the background:p
i would like to withdraw all members of the present goverment of the uk from the contest because they definately do not comply

the b747 was a brilliant addition to the show , amazing how agile the big bird is………
apparently there was a complaint that the geese failed to attend pilots briefing on saturday lodged by other pilots who did
so on sunday the three flight leaders attended briefing as requested but were soon asleep as the safety brief was read out but did wake along with the rest of the pilots in time to take part in their slot.
well done to ever thought up this display:D 😀
i think i will take shot gun with me

I have just been told that the parking area outside hanger 1 has been severely reduced in size, with the barrier being brought right back to make the area the new ‘jet pan’. It is apparently a perminent change. Can anyone confirm this?
the reason for the dispersal at the eastern end is due to increased jet operations from ARC and is only temporary and disapears on airshows to make room for the P51 spotters.:p
with regards to ARCO decision.
The team are still in the process of examination of the airframe so that a realistic time scale can be given,
many factors have to be taken into account such as prop and engine examination, source of spares , financial restraints ect..
the team ask you to please be patient and and promise that as soon as a decision is made it will be posted here
you can help support the blenheim by joining the blenheim society and then receive regular news updates
or if you see the sales team at the shows then buy a raffle ticket or two
thanks for your support..
the war graves commission may also be another possible place to contact , i know they deal with enquiries and would certainley put you in touch with the correct people to deal with this.
we recently got involved with a blenheim in africa an they arranged for a british army unit in the local area to visit the site and report their findings.
give them a call
good try
the pictures are on a film set for a film diected by H. Danziger in june of 1955. It was called “Satellite in the Sky” and the pilot is actor Kieron Moore.
Shame the aircraft crashed 3 months later but at least it sired a great aircraft in the gnat
