Merlin, when you open the garden gate does a giant log swing down on a rope? as you pass the garage does a giant springloaded branch covered in spikes spring round from the rear?

No Tony that would be silly.

We dont have a garage. 😀

But we do have a security gate with razor wire leading to our own private boardwalk.

Oh but mind the claymores if your planning to visit. 🙂

On another not David Graf who played Tacklberry died April 2001 after a sudden heart attack. Aged 50 only a few days away from his 51st birthday. His father and Grandfather both died aged 51 of heart problems.

I had not seen this before or had forgotten. RIP Tackleberry

    Tony,

Chainsaw always kept under the bed to keep the engine warm for easy starting. Baseball bat behind the bedroom door. The sawn off is just inside the bathroom door. Pump action is in the cupboard next to the bathroom. Twin desert eagles in the cupboard opposite. Samuri swords cover the living room wall along with other Katana and swords. Spare room is a bit medievil but ahem we wont go into detail on that one. We keep the mace and hammer in the kitchen along with all the knives and of course the industrial strength cattle prod ala Bottom behind the front door.

Tackleberry hasnt got a look in.

Did I mention the doberman and pitbull.

Well what do you expect we live in Edinburgh you know :diablo:

    😉

Wow is all I have to say. Glad that there are still people out there in the world who are willing to risk it all for something unique.

    Good luck with the project.

    Chainsaw:rolleyes:

Nice one Kev a man after my own heart.

Better get a pump action shotgun too incase they come armed with a gun. Or better still an Uzi. At least the spray of bullets would hit every burglar in case there is more than one. Short burst of fire though remember. 🙂

If they were out in the street not trying to break in then there isnt anything you can do. But what about the case of the old lady in my own town who was frightened literally to death because of the kids in the street shouting and throwing things at the house. No doubt they thought it was funny at the time. Well this lady died inside her own home. One brave young girl owned up to being there and I am sure if I remember correctly this lead to charges on others. I call her brave because she went against the norm and stood up to be counted.

Now if people are on my land in my garden and trying to break in I dont see whats wrong with scaring them a little. I find a high revving chainsaw normally does the job. But seriously if they are on your land looking or trouble then your not going to let them damage your property are you. Surely if your that way inclined you defend your property. And if they are inside your property then they have already done damage and I would say you life would be in immediate danger. Protect yourself however you can.

Thats whats wrong with this country nobody wants to stand up for themselves anymore. God help us if Germany ever wants a round three.

I have also looked on Scotlands people and tried to find him on the death register but I cant find him for some reason. Could his death have been registered in England for some reason??

He is however shown on the CWGC roll of honour. Which one would expect.

    Thanks for that Robert.

I will try and find my copy tonight and look up the info.

Still not unpacked my books as I have nowhere to put them yet.

Anyway, I’m off to practice self defence using an old keyboard.

Be sure to check that its PC and that you follow the advice of a H&S expert before commencing said activity. 😀
