Again for me just life tired me again

Well it might be getting woken up by my brother at 2 am this morning because he had fallen asleep in the chair in the living room where my bed is and he had the light on and was watching tv. I was asleep in bed and had to wake him to go to bed.

Better not do the same tonight.

Visiting my mother with my partner of 4 years and my children, when we don’t see her often. And yet, despite her barely-concealed ill-feeling towards my partner, she still decides to huff and sigh and glare and scowl at me over the way I discipline my son. That and the fact that she barely says two words to me ALL DAY. Face like thunder? Whole bleedin’ weather system, more like.

Mate with you all the way there me and my wife fell out with my parent last year over the exact same thing. My mum huffing and puffing about us disciplining our son who is disabled and a pain in the butt sometimes.

As seen elsewhere on the forum me and my wife split up nearly 3 months ago now. Staying with my parents and it is hell. Imagine what is being said. I have lost the rag several times at them.

With you on that one mate. Just tell her you will only visit if she shuts the hell up about it. No other way or it will end up bad. Mine has.

Sorry to drag this back but I missed it.
I’ve been round this bouy twice before. Don’t let your love and possible guilt ruin your future. Her lawyers will be telling her that she is entitled to the world, you must be equally hard and start from the premise that she gets nothing and then perhaps work upwards a bit. The guilt etc. will lower your guard and you could be parting with a lot of money. Of course, people will tell you to make it as friendly as possible…….yes, do this but again keep your wits on money and property.

You didn’t mention kids? The CSA are the only justifiable terrorism target. I had to deal with them when they started, and for 6 years. Thankfully that part of my life is over, I was able to burn (With great glee) the 5 lever arch files FULL of letters etc. from them. They are witless brainless scum set out to reduce Government payments at no benefit to the parent with the child and at great pain to the person whose salary they raped.

Thanks for the wise words Old Shape I am sure you are a person I should be talking to right now about all these stupid things going round my head right now.

Its hard as we both are living in the same area. I work about 5 mins walk from the house. I am fiding things hard right now as this is my first marriage and first major break up with anyone. I think that is the difference between me and her. She has had at least 3 major break ups before.

I only have a stepson and stepdaughter to worry about so no CSA involved but it doesnt make it any easier to leave them behind. But I am still trying everything in my power to see her and fix things despite what the lawyer say. But the next few weeks will tell where things are headed. After the 14th or 16th of this month that will be the final death blow for our marriage. I am intent on saving our marriage but as long as she know I love them all then I let them go easier than I am doing right now.

Lifes a bitch as they say and things dont always go how you want them to.

No matter how hard you try or how much you want it.

    Thanks Old Shape

You know that if you splash on the old spice, jump on the train and turn up with a box of milk tray and some flowers that you are “pushing” and she will need her space don’t you

Snap how did you know thats exactly what I was doing with my wife. I sent all these loving letters to her and all I got was a solicitors letter.

    Saying no contact especially letters.

I have no clue what she is thinking we havent really talked for months now.

Oh well back to the foxhole!!

    Well Bubbles

they know what they say plenty more fish in the sea.

    Sorry couldnt resist that one.

Just got to keep your chin up and get on with things. Make plans and keep on keeping on.

The hard thing for me is thatb i love her so damned much and she doesnt even want to talk no more and that was after only 2 weeks apart it got all legal.

and for legal reasons we shall leave that subject there. Simply because I dont want to go into anymore detail not because there are legal proceedings or anything.

Keep doing the things you do best.

Oh keep any eye out on the forum we have an interesting dig coming up this weekend which I will share later if I am allowed. Keep you posted.

Finally realising that my marriage is over.

And I thought that our love for each other could overcome any problems we might have had.

Being told by everyone you will get over it in time and there are plenty more fish in the sea.

And people who tell me to take my wife to court over the debt I have been left to pay which I had no idea about.

I suppose I am not the first and I will not be the last.

And finally knowing that our 13 years of being together and 6 years married meant so little to her.

All of the above made me swear today. Today is a very bad day.

BTW we have been seperated for only 2 months but it feels like an eternity.

Dons flak jacket and dives for cover in the nearest foxhole.
