These pilots and their ilk fly very close to the edge and it is astonishing that this is the first accident. I suppose it shows just how skilled they are but also how fine the wire is. And we remember the Red Arrows accident in Crete last month. I sincerely hope he recovers to fly again.

Nor me – plenty of other far more diverting and worthwhile things to do – like finishing off an Airfix Churchill for the grandson.:)
