Good work Josh, especially on the last.

Fantastic shots, Josh, Gatwick really does get some fantastic traffic, the old c/s NWA 742 looks brilliant in a retro way!

It does, but I think it looks even better in the NC.

    Emirates… Emirates? Emirates!!!!

The last is a stunner Paul. The EZYs sure do stand out again a dull background – good work, Sir.

Since I heard about this earlier this year, I knew it was only a matter of time – hopefully it wont affect one of the, if not the best UK airlines service.

I can’t see them rebranding anything… not in the near future anyway

Heard rumours that baby will be sold off or shut down.

BMI (WW) will be the first to go, espically with the high competition from FlyBe.

    I know – i’m confirming that it’s correct.

I know, they are all operated on behalf of other cargo agents, but operate under the Emirates callsign.

    If I remember correctly, SkyCargo currently use 6 aircraft: 1 A310 – 5 B74F; Operated by TNT/GTI.

    You’d be pleasently suprised by my UAE knowledge… 😮 :p 😀

Sad news indeed – It sure was nice to see it on spotting/photography trips.

Why don’t they just rename them London Airways.

I wonder how many of your 880 posts aren’t rants or flight info req’s.

A quick update on the 74F,

ALT1 EGSS (So you STN guys never know 😉 )

Thanks Guys – It’s much appreciated.

Sam, I think the flight aborted his takeoff earlier in the day due to an engine problem. He asked the Fire Services to also check the brakes – I’ve heard it needs the engine replacing, I don’t know if that is true or not. There was 3 Emirates 777s in today –

    A6-EBX – Tech
A6-EMP – UAE8017/8018 (picking the tech pax up)
    A6-ECB – UAE17/18

I guess that explains why I saw UAE8017 in the system yesterday, while looking for the A6-EDB delivery flight – which was UAE7380 btw. 😉

Are we making it into a show your boarding cards from this year post?

    If so… :p

Some of mine from this year, and i’ll get another two tomorrow, and another two next week. 😀

All though some are slightly different, they all have similar information on, who you are, where and when you are going, your seat etc…

Yes, he’s going to be using a rental car – he asked this on my forum, but my answer obviously wasn’t good enough…

A good insight to BA, and behind the scenes – i’m sure i’ll be flying with them again in the future, but I just hope I don’t come across any of the issues raised in this documentary…

We all know that B.A. have had a bad year, and B.A. knows that it needs to improve, Heathrow needs extra runway capacity and that would go a long way in limiting cancellations and improving time keeping.

By saying that, they’re only trying to push the blame onto LHR, instead of admitting they’re in the wrong. I think cancellations/delays/baggage loss are bound to happen to an airline with as many operations as BA (but certainly not to the scale they’re loosing bags, roughly 1 per 40), but they aren’t helping themselves, and it’s bound to continue…
