Great shots, esp. the DLH B722!
BEFORE YOU WERE BORN????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You know how to hurt a man:(
Thanks for the coments all, I will be posting more over the months. Most of my pictures are from airshows and museums though.Rgds Cking (Feeling very old)
6 Years before I was born…
Thanks Guys.
I’ll bare that in mind next time, Steve. ๐
Impressive mate.
Liking the A346 – Looks great! Can’t wait to fly on her.
Adam
Got to go, they need me back out in the fieldโฆ.(posting from Jamaica)
Cheers Monty, Alan, Adam…whoever you are!
Anything booked to fly on the A346? I was supposed to be flying on one on Friday, but it’s been changed to a 77W – I’m not arguing! ๐
Wicked sam!!
Rob
๐
Thanks Rob!
Fantastic shots my friend :), the Emirates shot has a very dramatic feel about it ;).
We’ll have to do it again soon.
Cheers Tom – sounds good!
Excellent shots as per usual from you, Sam! ๐
Very kind, Tom!
Especially liking that A380. Did the weather play ball? At work yesterday it was looking pretty murky with an overcast high layer of cloud, the Sun only came out properly for about 2 hours at lunch time.
Cheers Dan – we had a couple of hours of sunshine – shame a proportion of it was over lunch!
Thank you, Guys!
Here’s another one…

Just wondering, are bmi going to paint the ex BMED A321’s and A320’s into the proper livery?
I’d personally prefer to see them stay in the hybrid livery – it looks better than the standard colours on the A321 – the curve looks way too looooooong.
Some fantastic images there, such as the last one!
Shame we don’t see more from ‘up there’. ๐
Great work, Dan.
What a contrast between the EZY and the snow!
The shot on short final is superb.
Cheers Guys, much appreciated!
Oh, imagine an engine change in the cold and the heavy snow…
Right… thanks for that… :p
Good work, Matt.
Looks like you were quite unlucky with the weather – cold and cloudy! It was equally cold here, but at least we’ve had blue skies all day!
I’m very aware of the yield management and ancillary revenue (the whole essence of the low cost model), but the price you stated above (ยฃ330) proves the point, the model isn’t working in this economic climate because they now have to charge ยฃ330 return on higher yield seats. This seems over and above the usual Ryanair ticket pricing. I’ve never flown them, and I never will so long as I have a hole in my backside so maybe others can confirm what a “typical” return ticket set them back let’s say, a year ago?
On the same dates;
Flybe – ยฃ288.88 (SOU-DUB-SOU)
British Airways – ยฃ253.00 (LGW-DUB-LGW)
Aer Lingus – ยฃ307.54 (LHR-DUB-LHR)
FR’s fares aren’t far from other well established airlines, and I’m yet to have a bad experience with them. So why wont you fly with them, Deano? I understand you may want to be loyal to other carriers (such as BEE, BAW, BMA, VIR) but why are you so adamant about flying with Ryanair?
These airlines don’t offer flights anywhere near the same price which RYR frequently do, so overall i’d say the price management is working.
Fantastic doesn’t even come close to describing this thread, but it’ll have to do!
Roll on part 4!
Good work… again, CW.
I’m surprised you don’t have a frequent visitor card for the AVP! (Maybe you should enquire… :D)
Mr.Cloud9,
Good to see you out with the new cam, I hope it’s treating you well. ๐
Some of these shots are very nice and if you stick with it, even they’ll increase in quality quite quickly – it’s a steep learning curve.

Sam
Great shots, Neil.
The first is just… wow!
British Airways all but pulls out of Manchester, but the first place they turn to when fortress Heathrow fouls up is Manchester.
They first alternate is usually LGW actually… ๐
(I know what you mean though :))
