So running up an aircraft and getting the air-con running, supplying all that nice DRY warm air the the inside and avionics bays doesn’t do any good? Circulating fuel within tanks, preventing the sealant / bag drying and cracking is a waste of time???

Fair enough as regards weathering, but please look beyond that!

Just after it came out on video we were stuck at the end of detachment in Bardufoss, Norway. Only 2 videos remaining, the others having gone back, Top Gun and one of a more Scandanavian nature….. Must have seen TG at least 15 times in 2 days!

We soon tired of the other option!

Thanks, but I don’t believe this will cover the set up of the MX 7 in a CCPM application for helicopter use.

I do have a set of instructions for the standard PCM FWH set, and they don’t cover this.

    Cheers anyway.

It reminds me of the linkage at the top of a Jags nose leg for the nose wheel steering – but it isn’t!

C numbers were common on U/C components though.

When I visited late last year there was talk of Mercedes reinstating a non banked bridge over the river to allow a circuit of sorts using part of the surviving banking and the infield area.

The round bit looks like a winch to me.

I know there were trials at various times of trailing weapons, and the ‘barrel’ could be a feed tube for the wire…………..

We had the wing from this one ( I believe ) in the Wing Bay at Abingdon. Outer 5 feet or so missing from mid spoiler position. I was aware it was a RAFG aircraft wing, but thought the accident had been in Germany.

Saw another similar wing taken off the one that hit the Tornado ( tragically killing the crew ) That one diverted into Leeming, I believe.

Some had significantly less – even allowing for you ragging EM to death since I got rid of her!

OK – I’ll let you get away with putting my beloved Pussy Cat in historic as long as you add the rider ‘RAF or French Air Force’ – come on, the Indians are still making them!

Ah well, at least we outlasted the F14……;)

I thought it was to the stringers in the U/C bay roof, and was well on the road to repair

Going through the site a bit more, I see one of the crash sites was Don Bennet’s Halifax:
