Used a similar method to build a Hawk for the Lord Mayors Show when I was at Colt, except I sectioned a plastic model and put that on the OHP. The model was built like one of the caricature type cartoons, where the sections were true, but closer together to give a shortened / cartoon appearance.

Only other I can think of that that would attract a lot of interest with them is probably a Harrier
Pretty sure it was taken apart at transportation joints – look at the diagram here:

My best man helped put her there, but we’ve lost touch now, so I can’t check on the deal. I know AS&TF from Abingdon did the deed though.

Back nearly 25 years ago, a pilot I was associated with claimed he was potentially involved with flying these ( back in the UK ? ) Sadly he is no longer around to check what was on the agenda back then, but maybe there was sonething afoot that fell by the wayside.
Local airshow in Norfolk has now dropped vintage jets from it’s forthcoming event ( Seething ) Not sure what was planned, but………
The civilian T7 I was briefly associated with in the 90’s had live seats
……..and I thought the delay was whilst they worked out how they could have McCarthy ( he was the only American pilot wasn’t he ? ) destroy both dams ( or possibly all 3 ) 😀
