A couple of years ago I dropped a couple of Instruments Dials from a WWII Spifire or Hurricane as a donation to the museum. My parents live in Haverigg and I was visiting at the time
Could you tell me if they were ever used ina display
My only concern was, so much smoke for a drill, and would they use a real aircraft in a fire drill!!
Upon closer inspection of the images, and have to admit I have never noticed before – there is a fire engine present when they push the a/c back in to the bay.
Ah well….. if you were gonna let the Fire Brigade practice on your own garage – would you leave your brand new car inside??

Good shot mate!!! – you certainly did better than I, then again, I must admit at the time of travelling I didnt know it was at NEMA so it caught me off-guard (lame excuse)
