I know that there is/was a helicopter sunk – not preserved I’m afraid – in a gravel pit in Leicestershire as a target for divers. Is that a Wessex? Anybody know? At the novice depths there was an ex BMA Viscount cockpit.

There is a Dragonfly (WP503) submerged in Lancashire.

Also found this web site on old british military aircraft which might help Demobbed

I think the Whirlwind in New York is G-BKHA/XJ763. G-BKHC/XP328 was/is with Lodge Road Flying Services at Tattershall Thorpe, Lincolnshire

First time I saw this I thought it was a mock-up of some sort, but I think it’s real. Anyone know where it is?

    Its at “Ripleys” in Thailand.

    Exhibits went far and wide

Dove G-ARHX went to North East Aircraft Museum then to Aeroventure
    Jetstream Nose as Dove
    Whirlwind 7 went ot Australia
    Vampire went ot Malta

    Not sure about the others

I was more interested in the smaller items that were in the museum.

Going back to talking of Booker, what happened to the old “Booker Aircraft Museum” and the artifacts they had?
