I thought that as JM had gone public and the FW190 had been delivered it was Ok to Publish – was’nt intending on doind so with other images

Should I therefore remove them from public gaze ?

Thanks for all your replies – glad they were of interest to you – just very surprised that something as significant as this find has not caused more interest – each to his own I suppose. I have done my best – its others loss

Highlights being

North American P-51D 44-13598 Coded “CV-A” from East Wretham ( with B17 Flying Fortress 43-37798 from nearby Snetterton in background)

Handley Page Halifax MZ559 – This was bombed from a Lancaster above whilst on a raid http://flic.kr/p/e2SCk8 ( hole through rear fuselage)

Later a replacement rear section was added and the aircraft flew out ( shows New aircraft and old damaged section

Does anone now the Id of this HAlifax please

( id not known– landed and taxied Ok – Parked up – later that day the Undercarriage collapsed )

Old Buck is one of my locals – great for Photography – I am co-editor of http://www.flickr.com/photos/oldbuckshots/ – a web based Photo album of over 1300 images taken at the airfield have a look kand enjoy – NB use the slide show facility for the best results – works for all the different sets

Just to update the thread. I was informed by volunteers at the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum at Flixton that the Amphibian will be joining the Colditz replica glider in the collection sometime in August 2008
