Very sunny here as well in Bradford, not a million miles away from MAN.

Mark, I have had a search round trying to find out where the flight was from, cant really find out. It might have been operating an Onur Air flight, as according to the website they don’t serve England.

Incidentally the website (http://www.freebirdairlines.com) is a very well designed website. All airlines websites should be like it!

BY- Can’t understand why it looked very big, you get 757s into BRS dont you?

It just seemed much bigger than a 757 for some reason. The 757’s are only operated by BY really. MYT and FCA don’t seem to bring theirs here much anymore. The 757 is the biggest thing that comes here and there’s only about 4/5 757 services a day so the MD-80 was quite big for the usual a/c here.

The A370 always reminds me of an airbus a/c everytime I go down it. Nearly everyday as it links Yatton to my school in Backwell and the city of Bristol.

I dont know wht FCA has an obsession with changing its image every two mins!!

The new one is totaly disgusting. Whoever had that weird idea needs to leave the company right now.

    The current one is fine.

That a/c came into BRS a few days ago and again before that a few weeks earlier from Bodrum. It used up all of BRS’s runway and took ages to slow down!!

When I saw it the first time I nearly broke my neck on the bus coming home from school at about 3:50 (on the A370 which passes under the flightpath for BRS) to see it. VERY BIG a/c fro BRS. Nice to see it.

JEEZ, I’ve got underpants older than that!

shortly before you are ordered to buy the beers.

We’ll let you off. Not too sure about those commercial types, there might be some strange ones on there. Of course everyone here is PERFECTLY normal.

By the way, If you don’t recognise your username then it might that you have started on the beers early!

Welcome in, the rules are: behave (unless you are misbehaving) In bed by nine or else come home, keep your mitts off of Kylie and don’t do that, you don’t kow where it has been.

    MH

I really do suggest that you buy some new underpants after 14 years. By the way, there are younger people than me on these forums. 12 is the youngest I’ve seen if not 11 or even 10.

Who are you on about? do you mean Kylie Minogue or another Kylie?

Are you one of these internet geeks who’s a nutter and isn’t allowed into the real world so scares people on the internet instead? or are you ok really but just a little strange or p****d on beer?

I dont like BAA airports really.
EDI is great though and is an exception!
LGW is OK but LHR is hell – especially T2.

I’ve heard it a few times on flights but on some flights more people do it than others. When we landed at LGW from RMI on a MYT A320 (OY-CNR) the landing was really really soft and the plane just seemed to glide onto the runway (althougth there was very excessive braking afterwards) and more people than ever (almost everyone) clapped at the excellent landing. I don’t know if it was anbything to do with the Captain being female or not.

When we landed at VCE on BY 762 G-BRIF the landing was very very hard and the plane was swerving like mad but people still clapped anyway. Maybe because they were worried but we landed safely.

On a few EZY and GO flights a few odd people have clapped but it didn’t catch on so they didn’t bother and it was silent. The landings wern’t fantastic though but it wasn’t as if the crew had done a bad job though.

What does BA do with them when they aren’t needed for football matches and other temporary v high density routes? Surely BA can’t afford to have them sitting around waiting for football matches and for Tony Blair to hire one?

I tend to fly with the airline of the country I’m going to (unless BA or another UK carrier is much cheaper) as it ‘gets me in the mood’ for that country and I like to travel on loads of different airlines.

Wish I was on one of those flights!!!!!!!!!

What are BA doing about the flights that normally have a 744 service and have had the a/c taken off the route for the Lisbon route?

    Well done mate!!!

I about to join the Air Cadets hopefully. I’m 14 so it shouldn’t be too long before I get to go solo on a glider. If I do get to fly on a glider in a few years time I will put it on here…..

ps – if you don’t recognise my username it’s because I’ve ventured in from the commercial forum.
