That 727 looks cool with the BA c/s and celtic tail! I wish it operated into the UK!
I had the same thing britannia at BRS last year!
I went up to Bristol expecting to see the Balkan Air Holiday’s TU-154 and guess what?? it was an A320!!
I was quite dissapointed/annoyed!
I saw a Croation A320 a few days ago at BRS and managed to get a few photos.
Nice photos!
Its the first photo I’ve seen of this Air Madrid. They look good!
I live very near to Weston and even nearer to Bristol Intl which is my local! – and my Uncle works at Filton in the Airbus UK offices next to the airport.
Are the EAL 742’s still there at Filton?
Although it will be in the tui c/s if they do get it.
I expect some British (and Greman) charters will buy the 7E7, it seems ideal for them.
Even in the BY c/s I still think it’s an ugly looking thing though!
I saw a documentry in the UK about it on BBC2.
It was really intresting but depressing at the same time of course.
Nice pics!!!
I would love to visit New York and even live there or somewhwere in the USA for a while. It seems unlikely what with security but I feel it is neccesary for them to do it. Certain types of prats ruin it for every other innocent person!
Keep the photos coming, I love to see them!
Sorry, I misread it saying ‘from’ Man not at MAN so do excuse my ignorence.
I like the TCX A330’s but it dont like the way they look like they are overloaded at the front as they always seem to be tilting down at the front.
Have a nice flight! I’ve heard Air Malta are good. Best regards to your grandad for him to get better!
Maybe it was a diversion or something. EXT to SOU are quite near aren’t they? I dont think they would do a passanger split between those two airports as the pax are sort of in the same catchemant area if you know what I mean if they are that near.
But I may be wrong, as I’ve just remembered that Air 2000 did a ‘passanger split’ last year between CWL and BRS on the Faro route with an A321 and they are both quite near.
Nice photos! you were lucky to have the day off school!!! 🙂
If that is at MAN then why is there an EZY 737 in the photo? – please excuse my ignorence if the answer is obvious!
its a shame that KLM hardly ever operate the F50into BRS anymore! I miss it greatly like the BA dash 8’s too.
I could ask my uncle to clear up any confusion. He is somewhat an expert as he works for Airbus UK at Filton, nr Bristol and helps to design the wing structure and weights I think or soething like that.
He often goes to Toulose from Filton (on a privatair A320) for meetings etc and takes photos for me. Yesterday he gave me some photos of the A380 wings and engines he took recently.
When we taxied past it in a LH 737-300 (LH4740) D-ABEC from FRA on April the 17th the pilot pointed it out for us and said he would go a tiny bit slower for us to see it. We taxied a bit slower for a few seconds but then he speeded up and we continued to taxi to our gate in T2.
Great trip report! well done.
Your tour of Heathrow sounds fascinating!
Intresting to know about the man who designed the Jet2, BWIA etc liveries. Tell him I like them
I prefer Air transat’s old c/s, they were much better!
I really like it!
