What is your interest in Aviation? Flyer? Builder? Spotter? Seller?

Just enthusiast … my old Dad lived near Croydon airport in the 1930s and is a real aviation anorak .No doubt he’d have liked a son to share his interest ,but his only child turned out to be a daughter so I grew up with aeroplane talk .Now we’re both ancient we still share that enthusiasm ,but the flying boat thing’s just me .I’d dearly like to see the last two of the eight preserved Sunderland types I haven’t seen yet ,but hubby isn’t too co-operative .

Speaking as a new member of the forum ,may I say this just confirms what we women have always known – there isn’t a man alive who can resist a good knob gag .

Wouldn’t it be a better world if all countries had their favourite branded food on their flag .Being English and female I’d like to see the cross of St. George surmounted by a big bag of Revels .
