The scrapyard at Shefford, certainly received unwanted items from RAF Henlow, that was used to store RAF Museum aircraft, pending display. The only aircraft-like bits I saw there were Gipsy Major bits. The scrapyard has since closed and the area built on.

It makes me smart to use this as a link, but it has 4 wheels and looks WW2…
