They are from a Lancaster the ‘D’ of the part nos means it is from the fuselage the picture shows a 8D 2006 fuselage trestle screw
I was under the impression that the aircraft were not open to the general public, but judging by some of the damage done to the aircraft while in the museum this is obviously not the case!
You are indeed right with the above comment, especially as there is still a hole in the fabric of one of the elevators where something was dropped on it. I had permission to get in the a/c for the pictures which are being used for the next Haynes manual. If you are who I think you are, quite a few of your pictures are going to be used.
🙂 Super image Augsburgeagle… I hadn’t realised that the RAFM opened her up from time to time or did you have special access? Also, any help with dates would be great too…

The radiators were used after overhaul and are still fitted I believe. The pumps I am not sure about what happened to them.
