Hello, I’m afraid I’m coming to this thread a bit late but would like to ask if anyone has information about Hurricane LF686’s time at Colherne. The aircraft left RAF Bridgnorth where it was a gate guard, in 1963. It was transported to RAF Colherne, overhauled and placed into storage until flown in an RAF transport to the USA in 1969. This was a trade for Typhoon MN235. Who overhauled the aircraft and are there any photos while on Colherne or during the work?
