To be fair Russia is already pretty much isolated when it comes to Syria as it appears to be just them and Iran wanting to keep Assads tyrannical dictatorship afloat and when it comes to the overall world scene Russia is not a country with many allies as it is, let alone friends though thats hardly suprising considering how they act. I notice the Jon Lake article is from August 2010 and although I don’t speak French the video says 2009 at the 22 second mark. I wonder, could he have been reporting on different event a year later?

The article clearly refers to ATLC 2009, as mentionned in the beginning of the second paragraph. Now the question is, does the dogfight video actually represent one of the dogfights that occurred at ATLC?
