Well the thread has been derailed… whatever one thinks about gay marriage, the point is that the police fakes images & that big media (le monde no less) publishes those fakes image to plain lie to the french people. & at the same time the french gvt doesn’t even begin to aknowledge that it has to at least talk to the representatives of the anti gay marriage if they can muster 1 million persons in a demonstration.

Next time there is a demonstration, I’m going to attend (last time I worked) to have an undistorted view of what has happened.

For or against gay marriage should belong to another thread though.

Nic, your last comment sounds awfully close to “know your place woman.” Not a sentiment i can agree with.

    What’s wrong with gay marriage?

Why should people in a caring relationship be denied the same right as others who may believe in the equivalent of fairies at the bottom of the garden?

The governments could get on with “more important stuff” if people just stfu and let others live rather than feel they have a right to dictact to others how life should be lived.

If people are not harming others it is no business of those others.

Marriage is yet another institution hijacked by religion who want to claim it is all theirs and nobody else can have a share.

It’s plain greed and a power trip and i’m being very polite here!

I don’t care that gay people spend their life together.

Gay marriage is a much more complicated thing that you make it look, and while in principle I don’t give a damn if gay people got married, in practise it opens a whole bunch of cans of worms (yes many cans), for subsequent societal changes. Gender theories will wreck our societies, and gay marriage is only a small part of the puzzle, paving the way for more sinister evolutions.

Also it’s yet another nail in the coffin of our morals and religion. And by the way gay people don’t really care about marriage. Only gay rights activists do. Just look as who is behind those organisations and you know you should be against gay marriage.

I think a great many people in the UK would rather our government spent less time trying to engineer social change and more time actually sorting out the real problems we face.

    Spot on.

    Cheers,

All the matter in the moment of which we speak. What significance for air combat, has weight at takeoff? We need the weight in the early dog fight 😉

I was just playing your weight game but, let’s make the calculation say when the planes are 400km apart and see how it goes.

Hm, I think that paralay is thinking more on lift to weight ratio because that is much more important than static number for planes mass and surface area of the wings because great amount of lift is generated by sukhois body. For example, F-15 has much better wing loading than Su-27 but in realty it produces less total amount of lift.

Then I think he would simply be wrong there.

Well I think some of our russian friends should have a more open mind about the Rafale and actually research it a bit more than they currently do.

They seem to think that the race is only between them and the US.

I should keep a copy of this – you could probably use it again in April 2014, 2015, 2016… 🙂

    Maybe it’s even a copy & paste from 2011 or 2012?
