I thought that Heathrow could not allow to operate a double landing because their runways are to close together, in the Airliner World Issue May 2003, it said it would be unsafe to have an aircraft on approach for the parellel runways at the same time, because it would be a breach of safety due to the closeness of the runways!

I wonder if that will change the mood at AMS, if Northwest will decide to scale down their operations at Amsterdam, because at the mom they have heaps of operations at AMS, its like their Minneapolis Hub!

Well i reckon if they dont get rid of one type of aircraft then their operating costs will soar higher, generally Airbus aircraft have a lower operating costs, also i believe they should transform their fleet to all Airbus aircraft and well gain a better fleet comonolity and also reducing staff costs for training on different aircraft types.

Nope the Beluga isnt for sale, Airbus made them to transport their aircraft parts around Europe and also so they could replace the Boeing 377 Guppys (I think thats the name of the aircraft) which were powered by turbo props!

I disagree with you Matt, first impression is everything, and you are attracting customers, so why wouldn’t you make the most of it!
