Now if you want to find racism, look to India. Why are the lower castes and certain religious minorities so poorly represented in India’s tech sector?

well i have been following this thread from quite a bit ,,,, @ the Visas n the deliberate attempt at trolling @ snide remarks abt “low cost indian engineers”

well @ Tinwing ,,, u seem to be an “expert” on India and specially on “Racism” in India …..

you talk about lower castes and certain religious minorities being so poorly represented in Indias Tech Sector ?

reality check ,,,, The Indian Govt. in order to negate any so called effects of “Racism” has reservations for such said “lower castes and certain religious minorities” in all educational institutions across India to the tune of abt 30% and in some cases to 50% of the available seats… and this measure has been around from decades ….

I personally dont quite approve of such a system , wherein i support pure merit for higher studies in any field ,, and no reservations because of somebodys caste or religion …..
But the FACT is ,,, it IS in place ….

and a so called person of a certain religious minority is currently the First Citizen of India. Our President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam … 😎

Excellent site Sferrin (the 2nd one); must be a great help for militants all over the world constructing rockets. :dev2:

i had come across that site a couple years ago ……. its an awesome site ….. helped me make my own fuel for my model rocket ……

i had also downloaded the web site owners ( Richard Nakka’s ) thesis from that site….. made nice reading and also good understanding of the topic …..

the information can be pretty destructive tho if used by unscruplous elements 🙁

All most all the points you made have alot of validity. Btw though i have lamented american behaviour towards pakistan on the new f16s—niether in this thread or the one before did i ever say pakistan should not induct mlu f16s. Pakistan should get as many mlu f16s as possible since the aircraft opposing PAFs mlu f16s would be the indian mig21 upgraded for the next 10-15 years—-there is no doubt that f16s are far superior to them. (sukhois -india only has about 30–few decent ones built by russians and the rest third rate stuff put together by the indians – i doubt the indian assembled sukhois are any better than the russian upgraded migs.)

I hope that the mighty PAF also thinks thataway and send Chinese/pakistani built jets to counter the Indian made third rate Sukhois :rolleyes:

It’s sad that there is no videos of F-14/15.Videos of Su-27…37 and MiG-29 are so easy to find and are trully impressive.

sferrin mentioned tht he had seen the “cobra” kind of maneuver being performed by the 14 in the Fighter Fling 04 video …

U can find this video on http://www.patricksaviationvideos.com …… may have to search for it a bit in the videos section as the site has many fighter fling videos …..

i agree … my bad …. i had seen the said pic for the first time … and got confused between the “h” and “a” …. it does look somewhat like a …… i am talkin abt the pic GD had posted and the one i have quoted … from side view some one culd get confused ….

^^^ err … u CAN reinstall windows on a second hard drive even if u have a single user pack …… you do not have to buy a whole new copy of windows every time your hard drive crashes 😀
