Ashley, I appreciate your efforts sorting this out, but I’ll have to drop out of this as well since I was mainly interested in looking at the interior of the Lanc and/or Sunderland.

I did swap emails with Look East after their coverage of the Firefly crash.

I think the fact that I asked why they did ‘Sun Reader’ level coverage might have touched a nerve !

(Didn’t change the bias nature of their reporting though).

When you think what large tourist attractions the airshows are at Duxford, both for the region and the UK, you have to wonder why the BBC seems keen to do a hatchet job on the IWM.

I’m off to the show on Saturday – be interesting to see the BBC’s coverage when nothing goes wrong !!

Got to be Sally B’s visit a couple of years ago.

To see her sweeping in from the righthand side, from behind the trees, passing in front of the crowd was absolutely brilliant.

Hope she ‘does’ Shuttleworth again in the future !!

Hopefully we’ll see one of the Tempests and/or the P38 Lightning that’s supposed to be coming to the Fighter Collection.

You really do have to wonder if someone at the BBC’s Look East has their own agenda about airshows and/or Duxford.

They do seem determined to show every event in the worst possible light.
