I just feel very sorry for the Americans and the situation they are in.
Why? (yes, very late to this debate in this forum)
There is nothing to apologize for owning a firearm.
The problems are from other then firearms, one is mental health services and being ready to act on them.
Case in point:
I’m not sure guns in a ‘secure place’ within the owner’s property would solve many problems; the recent killer’s first victim was apparently his mother at his home.
The problem is the guns. Look at this story from China, twenty-two children injured in a school by a man with a knife; if he’d had a semi-automatic weapon most of them would be dead. Children have been killed with knives in Chinese schools but far less than would be the case had guns been involved (and I don’t know what gun-controls exist in China).
See?
Guns are not issue, its deranged people, an infliction that hits all countries.
Weapon of choice for terrorists are explosives, for instance.
Taking away guns would not stop mass killings and murderous thoughts.
I will agree that it will be harder for people to be killed, but it will not stop the act.
The one item I think must be done is.
1. Mandatory safety education.
2. Mental health screening.
3. Criminal behavior (extended to arrest records)
I see your point about the Fw57, but think a turreted Fw187 closer. The two designs are presumably fairly closely related anyway.
The FW57 is a 3 man crew, while the FW187 was one, suggest a notable size difference.
I think it is a What-If (the FW57 was produced) aircraft in game, not a fictitious fighter with turret design.
St Eval Kart Circuit?
Good way to make sure the drivers dont wander off track.
“Ehy, don go drvin off trak now!”
I can agree with you and Clint here.
Bottom line, the identity is a nicety to the fact we have something tangible now.
Congrats!
I hope he loves airplanes like the rest of us, and more then his dad!! 😀 😀 😀

Need to see that article, but it sounds similar to USA apologizing for using the A-bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The interesting part is Japanese historians say it was the correct decision. True it is very tragic and horrible, but a prolonged war would have been worse, no?
War is hell, and lasts for a very long time.

Wish you best of luck!
How quick the world was to “bury” everything after the war….

You may notice one or two small variations 😀

Yes, the loadout on the Tornado is wrong!
Rest (un)assured, media in US gets it wrong, occasionally with “death defying” results too.
Thanks for the groaning humor post, Moggy!

Which surfaces was the AP connected to? Just the elevator and rudder?
I imagine #1 be difficult with the pile of user fees pilots have to pay.
I like Redhill, quaint grass field and quite atmosphere, half expected some blokes on horseback ride by with hounds.
I was a wee lad at the time, still fond memories of the 2 or 3 times pops stopped by (once by my request).
Tragic, RIP.
