FlyGlobespan are very cheap I looked yesterday Glasgow to Prague £4. Air Scotland don’t fly from Aberdeen or Glasgow Prestwick anymore they just have flights from GLA, EDI and NCL
It was predictable and it could be partly thanks to the SE.
I don’t know why everyone is so surprised. I predicted (not in this forum) that Duo would go because their EDI flights all have a load factor of under 20% but they kept on adding new flights from EDI.
Northwest?
GLA has 3 one of them is a Airtours/MyTravel one
PIK has 1 huge one
They have been rumoured domestically to be doing GLA, EDI and MAN.
I think it is better to have all operations threw 1 terminal than it is going threw 3.
Yes Air-Scotland will fly to Athens direct from Glasgow, I had a private email from them saying the summer schedule on the website will be redone and Glasgow will have flights to Athens and much higher frequencies on the current routes to Alicante, Barcelona, Malaga and Tenerife
Should be a fantastic summer at GLA this year passenger numbers are expected to jump from 8.2 to 10million. We have the following new services.
2x daily 767-300 Zoom flights to 5 Canadian cities and 4 destinations in the Caribbean
FlyGlobeapan now have 50 flights a week to Europe
US Airways daily 767-200 to Philadelphia
Emirates daily A330-200 to Dubai
Continental daily 767-400 to Newark
American airlines 767-300 daily to Chicago
Air Canada 767-200 daily to Toronto
Thomas Cook daily 757 to Toronto
Croatia airlines to Dubrovnik
Air-Scotland to Athens
The usual huge amount of charters with MyTravel, Thomas Cook, Thomson, Excel, First Choice, Monarch and this year a Spanair A321 based and a based Air Malta A320.
Also a lot of new regional flights with BA, BMI, Euromanx and a lot more flights to the Caribbean.

Are EZY not switching the Zurich flights to Basil?
Looks like today they have added Cologne and Rome from EMA but dropped BCN and GLA 🙁
Glasgow International (GLA) 8million a year expected to rise to 9 or 10 million this year.
Glasgow Prestwick (PIK) 2.5million and the fastest growing in Scotland and 1 of the most fastest growing in Europe.
