Although not longterm plans, more shorterm, I read somewhere (desperately trying to find source :confused: ) that one of the Invincible class carriers was going to be kept on for a bit longer to stand in for HMS Ocean until she finishes her re-fit.
One kept as a preserved museum for the Falklands war would be very good. To be honest IMO i’m not sure if any countries would be willing to buy the invincible class carriers. I know they are tried and tested platforms and are very good at what they do, just cannot see a country buying them as they are a good 20 years old. My knowledge ain’t great on carriers and not sure what a majority of other countries have, so my oppinion is probably wrong :p 😀
