    Good plan.

Personally I use a slight revision of it – I assume 95% of drivers are complete idiots and the other 5% are homicidal maniacs.

    Works for me.

Hahahahaha 😀 , I must say I have to agree with that!!! I only passed my test a month and a bit ago but have already had my fair share of encounters with complete pillocks. My favourites are the drivers that don’t indicate, especially on roundabouts, which way will they go!?!?! no one knows  😉

    In no particular order,

The start of Top Gun where they are launching and recoverying F-14’s to the ‘Danger Zone’ music……sends shivers down my spine hehe

Apocalypse now, helicopters attacking the Vietnamese village

Battle of Britain, same scene as Rlangham, Spits and Hurri’s kickin Luftwaffe ass.

Memphis Belle when they think she hasnt made it and then low and behold she appears and crash lands.

The part in Black Hawk down, where they hunt that hog

The scene in Team America where Kim Jong takes on Hans Blix 😀

There’s a few more that I just can’t think of at the moment

    Great piccies 🙂

Yeah I think a decision won’t be made until 2010, until then in an extended state of readiness.

I’m joining the Forces to do my aerospace/aeronautical engineering (courtesy of the queen 😉 ) However, my mate is gunna go to Southampton Uni to do his course, he’s been down there and says the equipment and facilities are top class.

Great pictures Kilvy, the Sea Fury looks superb. I look forward to your next batch 😀
I had a briliant day, I especially enjoyed the AAC Blue Eagles, The RN Black Cats and the RAF Merlin, all did terrific displays 😀

Superb piccies Spey111, I should hopefully get mine uploaded soon. I thought it was a great day, the weather and the display was very good indeed. My highlight was seeing all the helicopters together at the end, the more aircraft in the air at one time the better. Seeing the solo displays, although very impressive, they do get a tad boring after a few passes. Over all a top day 😀 The Navy personnel were very friendly and easy to talk to also.

Did anyone get any pictures of the ACC Blue Eagle Lynx doing the amazing “backflip” manouvre??

Lamps, you caught it right when you went to the loo then, at one point there was a line along one side of the Concorde Hall for the ladies toilet there. The SA 747 was very good, first time I had seen it, very pleased I did, will think of the display when I fly in a 747 next month, as for the Harriers, what you saw is basically all thats left airworthy, with a couple in the static

Thanks mate, I used the toilets in the museum when the 747 was displaying 😡 😮 dam hehe

I took my camera along, i’ll post a couple of my pictures later. They are pretty much all static shots (i aint very good at getting them in the sky either 😉 ) with some of the helicopters at the end of the show.

    I thought so bmi-star, thanks
🙁 I hope Markko does return as he’s a great talent in the sport but I think you might just be right. When you lose someone like your co driver under such circumstances, I don’t think we can begin to imagine how Markko feels. The bond the driver and co-driver make in a season, let alone since 2000, it must be like losing a twin brother 🙁

Especially this far into the season, this will be an understandable career changing moment for Markko on what ever he chooses. Markko being 4th place in the driving standings and everything to play for this must be so tough for him and his team mates 🙁
