Do those have a different engine?

Again echo was has been said about wooden props. Be interesting to see how they get her back to weald. Maybe fly it back with wheels down similar to the fw190 from legends a few years ago? Thats of course if they can get her back in the air of course.

I hope the damage is not that great, but I assume the underwing radiators are gone. Surely the engine cowling scoop is gone. Plus they might have to test the engine. I don’t think it will fly back to the UK:(

Yes it’s a secret, if you knew then it wouldn’t be a secret would it.

The way I remember it is that it was first “twilight tear”. That was until another mustang appeared that could prove it was the real “Twilight Tear”. The other one then had a problem with it’s identity. It got rebuild and during that rebuild magically some scratches were found in the metal that somehow proved it was another real combat vet named “fragile but Agile”.
Please correct me if I’m wrong 🙂

Oh, and another mystery for me. Why is FBA’s serial listed as 44-12016, when period foto’s of the real one clearly show it as 44-12018?
