Just send them an e-mail to make sure they see the ad 🙂 Don’t know if it’s hard to de-mod the nose, but I kinda like the looks 🙂
If it was stolen isn’t the owner of the fuselage also still the legal owner of the tail section? Who would have a dispute then?
Depends on the country. Some countries have a law that an item becomes legally yours if you have it x number of years, even if it’s stolen in the first place.
She has just over 900 hours on the airframe and remarkably, used just 15 F.I, meaning she still has 201 F.I left!!!!!
Wouldn’t this make her VERY interesting to Thunder city? How are her engines?
And it wouldn’t look that good being in the open for so many years. Movie prop?
🙁
Does it run?
Thanks! Sounds like a fun time 🙂
So this is the logo of the base flight from Laarbruch? We had some other Fouga’s stenciled with the “Beep beep” cartoon character. That was base flight Oldy (Oldenburg). What exactly was a base flight? Any more info?
The stencils should be between 1977-1985 somewhere.
Also looking for the meaning of this zap. Many Red Devils Fouga’s were zapped with it. I think also in the UK?
If anyone wants a lightning cockpit theres one under a sheet that looks like its not be touched for a long time at aero venture South Yorks, an F6, nut sure wot their policy is with it but it just seems to be decaying at the moment.
How much do lightning cockpits go? Any 2-seat cockpits around?
Getting one out of the USA is not gonna happen. Unless you have really deep pockets maybe.
I would like to see the video also. There is a picture over on airliners.net:

Man, did the HLF invest in the wrong V bomber! I’ll take a Victor over a Vulcan anyday!
Looks like a safeguard to me. Don’t know the name in English, but a metal plate with the sides folded to prevent the switch from being toggled on accident?
