“There is also an option on an additional 18 aircraft and a support package for up to 26 used F-16s, a munitions package and an upgrade package for Pakistan’s current fleet of 34 F-16s,” the official said.

This is all Pakistan is getting for 5 billion US$?

I wonder how many “civilians” were wounded in the back and forth massacres between the Palestinian and Christian militias in Lebanon. And those thirteen palestinian civilians…well how “civil” were they exactly?

I didn’t quote the numbers from arab media, the horror.
    http://www.isn.ethz.ch/news/sw/details.cfm?id=16247

These numbers, these evocative stories, are all very well…funnily enough they dont mention the other side of the coin, as to the fact that these are often Israeli retaliatory strikes…

So according to you it’s ‘ok’ to kill civilians in a retaliatory strike? Since ofcourse Palestinian lives hold no value. Right, ain’t I?

All the same can be said of any Arab country and much much worse besides. Lets see, Syria? Yup. Egypt, yup. Algeria, yup. Iraq and Iran, lets not even go there.

LoL you are so predictable :D. Syria, Egypt, Algeria arent even democracies on the scale of Israel so how did they “elect” genocidists? Please give details as to exactly WHEN did Iran use napalm on civilians, exactly whose land are they stealing, exactly where are they building a apartheid wall? Please, enlighten me with more fantasy facts of your own manufacturing. I always enjoy a good laugh.

None of these countries followed anything like the ROE Israel has, by consequence of its choice of Government and constant scrutiny over the Pal-Israel conflict.

You might want to learn a thing or two about the Sabra, Shatila massacres.

Bulldozes peace activists? I take it you are referring to Rachel Corrie- well, if someone decides to stand in front of a bulldozer with extremely limited visibility, in order to make a statement, then the risk of being run over comes with the territory. Not to mention of course, her rather strident political views which didnt exactly endear her to her fellow citizens back in the US.

And her political views make her life any cheap? Since you obviously are not showing remotest hints of remorse over this act.

As regards napalm on civilians & shooting children in the head (sounds more grisly than the heart I guess), these are more one-offs than anything else.

As far as shooting at kids by Israeli soldiers is concerned there are more than just a few examples of that. A simple search at google would suffice for that matter.

One wonders why the Palestinians are so ready towards violence, and that too using religious fanaticism as a rationale…obviously, non violenct resistance or the likes of Gandhi, Mandela (who changed to this methodology) or even ML King, are too effete for the brave Palestinians.

To reduce Hamas etc to just “war mongerers” without any recognition of the conditions from which they come, the continued occupation of Palestinian territories by the state of Israel for some 60 odd years, the denial of justice, torture, collective punishment etc is incredibly ahistorical and colludes with the prejudiced media that presents their acts as if they come from some essential Arabness rather than from their political situation. The Hamas etc are definitely immoral in attacking civilians but try looking at it historically – the rebels in india in the 1857 war of independence or the national insurgency in Algeria against France wasnt exactly kissing the colonizers out of power. How did the American colonies liberate themselves from the English? That wasnt exactly a gentlemanly handshake that decided things between the 2 parties, was it?

You cant step on someone’s neck, choke out their oxygen and then ask them not to struggle.

and we done almost NONE to stop those, besides few pin point killing of those who fired the rockets.

I am presuming you meant strikes like these:

    1. Seven children (3 of ’em died) were among the 14 civilians wounded when an Israeli military aircraft fired two missiles at a vehicle in which two Al Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades militants were traveling in Gaza City on Tuesday evening.
    2. Thirteen Palestinian civilians have been killed in Israeli air strikes in the Gaza Strip this month.

more than 70% from the palestinian population elected Hamas for the goverment, now is the time to pay for their mistake.

See if you can answer this. Its a trick question: What do you call a country that uses napalm on civilians, has an illegal policy of assassinations with complete impunity, institutionalizes torture, steals land, pollutes water, buldozes peace activists, shoots children in the head and elects genocide-specialists to power?

The designation of the AEW aircraft that crashed was KJ-200 (Shaanxi Y-8F-600) not KJ-2000 (IL-76). Kindly refrain from posting false reports.

It’s in their nation’s best interest to NOT have nukes. America isn’t the only country trying to convince them of that
Who in God’s name gave them the right to decide what’s best in Iran’s interest?

Yes….let’s give terrorist groups access to nuclear weapons (which the current Iranian gov’t WILL do…..) and that will solve all of our problems.

G.W.Bush: Saddam “is a man who would likely team up with al Qaeda. He could provide the arsenal for one of these shadowy terrorist networks….”

    Déjà vu anyone?

NEW DELHI: Pakistan has opened a massive $250 million credit line for supplying Sri Lankan military equipment, including many offensive weapon systems such as tanks, say authoritative sources. The figure contradicts recent reports about Pakistan providing around $50 million military assistance to Lanka.

Indian sources insist that an eager Pakistan is stepping it up to $250 million, raising several new uncomfortable questions for India. The report comes at a time when India is worriedly looking at Pakistan planning to gift two of its old submarines to Bangladesh. With China too exhibiting interest in cultivating India’s neighbourhood, New Delhi has a much more complex region to deal with.

    source: DNA

Is it yet another rumour spread by DNA or Pakistan is going to export AKs to Sri Lanka for real? And it looks like DNA is still standing by it’s story of Pakistan donating two of its Daphne class subs to Bangladesh even though the news was categorically denied by the Bangladeshis.
