OK guys,
Since I’m the one who initiated this thread, I think it is my duty to put a final word to it as, obviously, it is going nowhere now and does not add any value to the forum.
So my apologies to have misplaced this thread into the ‘Historic Aviation’ forum instead of the ‘General Aviation’ one.
Merry Christmas to all and let’s keep the facsimile aircraft being built :diablo:
Cheers,
Jacques
Yes, it’s just you Alex 😉
Try to get a flying Full Scale Spitfire with a 1200 Hp V12 Engine for $150,000…and you realize that homebuilding one from plans/drawings can be the solution, providing you have the time, skills and nevertheless money to do it or to get it done.
As long as it looks, sounds, feels and flies almost like the real thing … I’m personally 200% in favor of replicas, no matter the techniques and materials used.
Keep’em being built 🙂
Cheers,
Jacques
It is actually built from the set of Plans designed by Marcel Jurca, unlike FlugWerk’s kit approach. This will be the first full-scale Fw190 homebuilt replica to fly in the world; Another one is currently being built in the US.
I like the Flight Line re-composed shot very much 🙂
Very nice pics Shorty01,
Thanks for sharing.
Jacques.
Beautiful Pics Chris… Thanks for sharing 🙂
Cheers,
Jacques.
Thanks for sharing this great news DazDaMan… and congrats to the Haug Family!
What a reward the first flight must be after so many years and hours put on the beast. Always a pleasure to see one of Marcel’s designs gracing the skies.
Cheers,
Jacques.
Talking about hub…
… did you see the B-25 Nose reflection in the Prop Hub dome???
Great picture!!! 😉
Cheers,
Jacques.

Dear all,

Any help would be greatly appreciated… thanks in advance.
