DazDaMan, it’s probably all tied in with allowing you 1 hour off work during the day. Where I work, you can have a 10 minute break in the morning, 40 minute lunch and 10 minute break in the afternoon or have 1 hour for lunch.
Swear reason (mild expletives) – team I work on being overlooked for comapany employee of the month award (but worse) not even having anyone nominated for team employee of the month. Second time in three months that has happened. Bit embarrassing/humiliating seeing the 5 other teams within the company having recognition but not ours…. and it’s not for the want of not working hard.
swear reason (shockingly bad expletives) – one of our team members faces the prospect of having an amputation to go through following a blood infection – it’s either a foot (at best) or a leg below the knee (at worst). All depends on how medication works…. and it’s the same person that broke their wrist in 2 places earlier this year.

I believe TCX has 2 or 3 757s that seat around 187 passengers which are used on the “long-haul” routes which is why your legroom was epic!
Times are meant to be 1225 arrival 1520 departure on 1st September, reverting to 1410 departure on subsequent days through to winter timetable when the times go to 1145 arrival and 1330 departures.
And daily does mean daily (unlike the press release MAN put out about a daily Stuttgart service that operates 6 times a week!)
Difference this year is that it’s positioning empty from LHR to MAN before going en-route BKK-SYD. Can’t wait to see an A380 doing this!
Still using the 05s.
It landed around 1920 and sod’s law has dictated that the 23s are in use as of 1945. So didn’t see it coming in, and not going to see it going out.

getting through a performance review at work 2 months into a 6 month probation period, being scored higher by my team leader than my own self-analysis that we had to go through.

Elsewhere it’s reported that Blue Islands is critical of Aurigny’s “ancient” fleet of Trislanders and that they have stopped 14 routes over the last decade. As for the price comparison, one has to suggest that I doubt Guernsey would be discussing the sale of Aurigny if it were profitable. Perhaps they could look at the fares to see if they can raise more revenue!

No big deal? 23 aircraft along they find there’s a potential fault in the tail because they couldn’t be bothered with the slight detail of quality control. I would beg to differ.
And ignored the reasoning behind my statement? Perhaps there is ignorance being displayed.
The aircraft concerned is NOT flying. Unless you are telling the world that 23 B787s have actually flown contrary to what everyone else believes. It’s only on the production line. Now if it was any of those currently flying and the data indicated there’s a problem then I’d be more reassured that the test programme is doing what it’s supposed to be doing and helping to discover any faults prior to delivery to customers.
The idea that they’re looking at the 1st 22 of the line indicates that something has gone awry with the programme not for the first time. like not bothering to check them out?! What other foul-ups is Boeing going to do with this programme?
But because this is their sacred Boeing we’re talking about, a company they believe can do no wrong and so they have to put thier heads in the sand whilst other people can work out for themselves what has happened.
