    Hi Everyone, damage limitation time here- some of you may have seen an article in the Daily Mirror today proclaiming that Bluebird has been finished and is being launched on Coniston this week.

    THIS IS NOT TRUE.

    What is being launched this week is a semi-REPLICA. This is NOT endorsed by the Campbell family, and has no connections with us. The real Bluebird K7 remains deep in painstaking rebuild.

    Please spread the word!

    Very interesting to hear about the crash of ‘our’ Barra, thanks for that; there’s already a thread running about the announcement of it’s rebuild- bit of merging for a mod to do maybe?

    Interesting! Next question then, does anyone have a blue light (or just the lens will do) that they’d like to donate to The Bluebird Project please?

    One of these lights in K7’s panel clearly isn’t red, but it’s hard to make out what it is- Campbell hated anything green, so maybe he had a blue light instead?

    When only seven of them flew over the Great North Run yesterday, I feared that they were a further aircraft down due to a tech reason; I’m glad to hear that they are getting some ‘new’ Hawks.
