I suppose motornig as a subject is limited in appeal.
There are ways of improving traffic flow (besides the obviuos -too many vehicles). For instance A lower speed limit can keep traffic flowing better. not that I believe lower speed limited is the answer to everything.
Surely there are experts who have studied these problems have solutions that could be tried? I suppose that comes down to finance, like everything else.

If drivers stuck to the Highway Code then a lot of motoring issues could be avoided.
What really needs to happen is more (recurrent) instruction for drivers of cars. Not only would this increase the abilities of motorists, it would eliminate groups of drivers who should not be on the road in the first place. The number one issue for car drivers is observation.
