Wasn’t that the maze at York last year? if so they planted it like that.
So that’s the one. I first went at Wallop in 78 and heard about the GSE coloured Spitfire but never saw it. At the time there was also talk of an unmatched engined mosquito that was owned or flown by one of the Corps.
In the report whilst he happily points out that the attack helicopters are ARMY he doesn’t make one mention of the fact that they are being deployed off an aircraft carrier
And Just which one is that? Oh HMS Ocean, isn’t that just an Amphibious Assault Ship.
Dannatt is a fool and a first rate rotter. He is ex-Army Air Corps
Strange I didn’t know The Green Howards had changed into the Army Air Corps, I thought they became part of The Yorkshire Regiment.
The Lynx v Blackhawk debate will run till the cows come home. Blackhawk didn’t happen, it might never happen but you never know it might. And would the Army Air Corps fly them you never know, the Apache is over the weight limit and it’s complex and they still manage to fly them.
Vulcan heading north over Tholthorpe North Yorkshire, MW must have been home again.
The accounts state that the Lottery and C Walton Ltd both hold sizeable charges over the aircraft
And there is the money owed to Marshalls that will have to be paid.
Someone is living in deamworld I think.
There must be something happening at Linton on Ouse today 4 june. Spit,Hurricane and Harvard overhead within last 5 minutes.
They started taking down the Grain Stores at Clifton Moor in York last week.

There’s a Spit low around Crayke now, east of Linton.
Sunderlands that operated into the Tegel(?) lake
The Sundelands operated on the Havel, the big lake next to Raf Gatow.
have Leeming lost their F3s
All gone. No quick reaction for years there anyway.
more like t64
No they are T62s. The splash bar on the front is straight and not a V.
A better picture of the right tank on the second picture would be interesting as it’s got explosive armour.
I set squirrel trap yesterday and what do you know, caught one of the offenders!!!!!!!!!!
Took him to work with me this morning……. now he’s got a 50 mile walk home
Not going to stop untill all cats have gone
I hope your not being to serious.
it’s probably theft and if you kill it it’s certainly criminal damage.
Some one did that to mine. Now he’s got a record, lost his Firearms licence, Job and house (a gamekeeper, law unto themselves) and it cost him £600 for the Cat + costs
Wasn’t the wisest decision he made that day.

Ironically I’m in the middle of reading the book on the ATA girls. It’s rather interesting.
John
Does anyone know what it is used for and where it may be
It’s on the west of the village of Lofthouse a couple of miles north of Pately Bridge in North Yorkshire. Its was part of the railway used in the building of Scar House reservoir in Nidderdale.
