That’s one long plane 🙂
i read in the Airliner world today that flybe in october will be having the embrear 195’s slowly being deliverd!! im sure happey becasue i will be able go further from a small airport!!!
……….and?
😀 😀
Nice shots – always good to see something a bit different!
i have just looked up about if ba will go ahead and order the A380 it says on this website a little bit on info on what ba will do Click here
Well if you want real speculation I’d recommed airliners.net :D. We can discuss till the cows come home but BA hardly splash their details across the web, do they :D:D
I really don’t know where they got that from ba i wolud’nt think be that nasty becasue T5 is being bulit to accomodate the A380, anyway ba have got terminals t1 t2 t3 t4 and that has’nt been a hasle for them, i could never think of ba being selfish to outher airlines
Yes but it’s not quite that simple – T5 always was and is about BA’s own terminal with all their operations under one roof. As Gonzo rightly said and I’ve said before in this thread to accomodate BA + Partners in 1 terminal would require something at least 50% bigger than T5 will be. It’s not about them being selfish it’s just a question of capacity restraints.
Nice report there – well worth taking the time to read.
nice shots there adam
nice shots there adam
Excellent photos there 😀
Nice shots there – how many aircraft do bmi base at LBA?
its taken me a fw years to work out what airlines serve which terminal at LHR as an enthusiast…this is gonna bugga up my work completely 😡 😀
lol 🙂 😀 😀
Really good shots – nice to see a friendly pilot there!
I work for BAA and “on the grapevine” T2 will be demolished. It is desparate need of work and BAA are unwilling to spend the vast sums of money needed. Not sure if I am 100% but I think T2 is the original 1st Terminal of Heathrow. Anyway T5 is a magnificent building and I am looking forward to seeing it open.
Lots of people knock Heathrow, but I love it… like a city in itself. 😉
I’m with you on that one 🙂
Yep – T2 was originally the first terminal at LHR – I too was under the impression that it was being left dormant for demolition but some have said on this thread that Star may use it – even though I’m pretty confident T1 would be big enough…
btw I’d envy your job!
yes, they must surely do that. they will do that in order to attract the largest possible audiences, therefore making more money. they can’t and won’t aim one of the best selling computer games in history at purely those with the latest hardware.
IN theory the OS itself isn’t the crucial part – most MS games will be backwards compatible – it’s more about having the hardware to run FS with decent realism – you may be able to run FS06 on Windows ME but if you’ve only got for example 128mb ram and a crappy video card you may think what’s the point
