I know BAA aren’t spotter friendly…

True BAA have shut down viewing galleries but I found the other week at LGW they have no objection to spotters as long as you ‘park and walk’ to the crash gates/fence – it’s no problem but they will move vehicles on. In fact they even have signs up specifically asking spotters to report any unusual activity.

Remember although they are dropping routes they are also starting new ones – so it’s not all bad – it’s a question of finding the most profitable routes to generate as much profit as possible from each aircaft.

I seem to have traversed the boundary here – I was born and brought up in Manchester but now live down here!

Good to see Air Berlin expanding – shame about GSM but then they are prinicpally a Scottish carrier.
