Here we are from 15 February, 2004. So maybe tommyinyork is correct. 😉 Maybe you lot just haven’t flow one of the aircraft without window blinds. 😉
Although I don’t know if things have changed again since then. I’ve never flown Ryanair so I don’t know.
AFAIK They went ahead with this but actually opted to keep the window blinds – although the other things such as reclining seats went.
I have got my facts right and believe me people say Ryanair aircraft don’t have window blinds and meal trays. Some Ryanair craft do but only older 737-800s.
 they all do!!!!!
Best wishes – do let us know how you get on! 😀

Parked at the gate but due to an “airstairs driver strike”, passengers have to leap from the doors onto the tar-mac.
😀 I love it!
Ah well, summer as normal for BA then… :p

Seeing as the low-cost carriers are contributing most to the GROWTH in air travel (and thus growth in emissions), seems only fair that their passengers pay most to offset the emssions their flights are causing! Besides, anything that puts off all the Ryanair passengers that seem to be clogging up airport terminals these days can’t be a bad thing! 😉
Andy
But it’s easyJet and Ryanair that fly the brand new, more efficient aircraft.

On another note, it seems the Government is not actually for these proposals – it’s the comittee that has come up with them. Read Steven Ladyman’s comments in the BBC article which give an idea of the Government’s stance.
Unfortunately anyone trying to start an airline is up against this attitude and will have to deal with it in their own way, either by trying to answer questions (as you have) or by simply ignoring it. To be perfectly honest, I really don’t see the need for people, as soon as this is mentioned, to jump on the ‘you got no chance’ bandwagon.
Personally I hope you do succeed and wish you all the very best. Until we see the outcome of your venture I’ll sit back and await the ‘congratulations’ or the smug ‘I told you so’ thread.

Well said, Paul.
It’s a shame some of the members feel the need to pull someone down like this.
Great shots guys – especially those Etihad ones: wow!
I’m just sorting out my AI traffic – loading all the obscure airlines into LHR!

not really mate the police need to make the roads clear for other emergancie units set up a CP etc.
Fair point. Surely ’30 fire related vehicles’ is perhaps a tad over reacting to an a/c declaring an emergency?
What were the police cars there for?
Seems a little unusual for an airport emergency
