I think I must be one of the only people who doesn’t really want anything changing regarding which direction the photography side goes. As far as i’m concerned just leave it as it is! It’s always been fine before, why change it?
I am disappointed to see so many votes for a sub forum. But if that’s what people want, I guess we’ll have to accept it. Personally, I think we have enough sub forums as it is.
Me too, I’ve voted to keep things the same. A sub-forum would sap the life from the main board!
Not So sure on the first Edit to be honest 🙂 – quite like that Orange one though, something different.
Gotta love this thread though, it is like a forum in itself and we don’t get the “he does this” “we need that” Crap thats over in the commercial forum,
Keep up the friendliness,
Wozza
p.s. perhaps we should keep up the screenshots as well 😀
Thanks for the comments – though I prefer the first one myself:D
Agreed about the friendliness – this is a pleasant forum, keep it going! 😀

Cheers Deano up to now I’ve always guessed it!!
Lance, aviation is never pointless! NIce and crisp pictures all the same 😀
Great shots – the AF 747 looks like a toy!
Has anyone got any advice on flap deployment on approach – eg when and how much?
Im sure FR love that long a flight – should be able to get around the plane a good 3 or 4 times with cart!
Or the crew to have a decent nap! 😀
Only kidding I found them to be brilliant in what can’t be easy circumstances.
They have gone for the “Classic” setup of the B737NG (which tries to recreate the older models but fails miserably, quite a few airlines have gone for the option – Kenya Airways, Air Berlin and Air Europa spring to mind). Also the B737 classics (300s/500s) are built like the B737-200s with the steam gauges. None of them have autothrottle or VNAV enabled. But they do have an FMS unit with some sort of lateral navigation available.

Could this set-up be upgraded in the future – for example if they were to have an all -NG fleet?
Thanks – I’ll go and refine my technique with this in mind!
Nice photos – why was the bmi there?

Hiya there – I’m back to the screenshot thread rather than this whole sub-forum nonsense!
A quick hop across the Irish Sea from Dublin to Leeds Bradford for you today – a typical Ryanair high frequency route:
Queuing for take-off at Dublin, an EI A332 winglet in the foreground:
Getting impatient – big airports and Ryanair don’t agree!:
The CFM engine of the 737-800

Head-on as we begin to climb out over the Irish Sea:
There I am! (Well…not really but hey!)

Graceful:

In the mid-afternoon sunshine:

Quite a “hot-n-high” approach today:

Landing, past the multiflight hangers:

A WOW Dash8-300 waiting to go to Bristol:

The terminal. Not bad for freeware:

A Thomsonfly 757-200 rests between charters to the sun and slopes:

And just after de-boarding from the front door with integrated airstairs:
These are a few I had a quick (very quick:D) edit on – let me know what you think on these:
