ive spoken to a friend about it, the programme that allows macs to run Windows is called bootcamp, which allows the operating system to be run from its own partition on the hard drive, both operating systems can be run independantly.
Macs should be able to run Vista, it just depends on the system hardware requirements for Vista.
the next MacOS, called Leopard, will include bootcamp in the system (due first quarter of 2007).
i hope that helps

really interesting video! shame about the awful editing though…
Eyebrow windows are no longer included in new build 737s becuase it saves costs and weight. i think they were there originally as an aid to navigation and to improve pilots field of vision – now with modern TCAS and nav equipment, they are no longer needed. I think Boeing produced some sort of kit that enables airlines to get rid of their eyebrow windows in their existing aircraft.
getting rid of these windows saves on weight and maintenance costs.

Like the Zoom and the EK
Ditto. the EK reflection shot is very artistic, great shot.
Great shots as always! Was wondering what the construction work was? From what I saw, they have closed a taxiway?
great shots there adam im heading there next may is the viewing park hard to get to from the main terminal building
I didnt go to the viewing park, becuase my shots would have been backlit. But aviation viewing park is easy to get to. You need to take a bus (i think its the 19) from the airport station to the world cargo centre, and then its a ten minute walk, following the signs. I’m not sure if the AVP has a car park.
To get to where i went, we got a taxi from the station, dropping us off outside the Moat House Hotel (Holiday Inn), and then its a 10 minute walk to the mounds.
here are some more night shots
Qatar Doha special livery A330 in the background

thanks! 🙂
Great shots – love the night photography
What camera settings did you use, I personally use F22 to give maximum depth of field and do a test for the exposuretime, usually between 1-2 mins
I would be interested in knowing your settings ISO etc…
MTIA
I have an Olympus C765UZ, quite old now. My settings for night photography are F8, ISO 64, the exposure length depends on what i want, and can vary from 1 sec to 15 sec (the max that the camera can do), and i use a tungsten white balance. I would occasionally experiment with F7.1.
🙂
So, what do you think of MAN from a photographer’s point of view? 🙂
BEST airport EVER. It beats any airport that ive ever been to. a) the airports cool attitude towards us b) the viewing possibilities.
The airport generally is the nicest Ive ever been to. I love the futuristic design. Oh, and I love the ‘blueness’.

The airport authority would do well to provide better weather, though. :diablo: 😀
thanks for the comments guys!
here are the night shots

we went to the food court between terminals 1 and 3, which overlooks a ramp. we saw BA connect engineers replace the wheel from a Dash 8. its not a great photo, but here it is anyway
oh, and it rained. no surprises, there then.

thanks 🙂

night shots to follow!
the ‘b’ logo reminds me of a logo used by an airport operator, can’t think which one though. anyone?
