I reckon its something dodgy with the project AI planes, i actually followed a VLM plane from Rotterdam to city, i followed it on the ground as it was not following the taxiway, it teaxied 10 miles away from city and just took off!?!?
weird ai! you sure it wasn’t a ryanair plane that decided to taxi part of the way to save on flying costs? 😀

also, regarding the computer CPU, go for an AMD processor. AMD processors are a lot more suited to gaming than Intel processors are – just their design. you will always see Intel processors in the office place – Intel processors are suited to ‘office type’ work, and image manipulation etc. you won’t usually see an AMD in the office place.
a 2 Ghz AMD processor is as powerful as an Intel Pentium 4 2.8-3.0 Ghz processor.
[QUOTE=andrewm]3) Too many to list – needs really to be 256Mb
not neccessarily. the memory on a graphics card (i.e. the 256Mb) is very fast, and therefore very expensive to manufacturer, and this cost is put onto the consumer, so cards with 256 Mb of memory will be very expensive, when compared to a 128Mb card.
crucially, 256Mb is not always the best thing to go for, becuase in some cases a card with 128Mb memory could be faster than one with 256Mb, becuase the processor (and the memory speed, the clock speed, and data bandwidth) on the graphics card might be better. so, be careful. don’t always be attracted to the graphics card that has the bigger numbers in the specifications.
i was about to make the mistake of buying the GeForce FX 5700 – i was interested in it because it had this 256Mb of memory. i was told by a friend to get the 6600GT which had just 128Mb of memory, but was a lot faster than the 5700.
the moral is to always buy carefully and research well.
thats most probably the B747-400D (d for domestic) – high capacity layout for ANA and JAL on their domestic routes. i believe that these are the only two airlines that have the variant, and it did not come with winglets.
EDIT – damn. you beat me to it 😀
yep, you want editvoicepack. makes a huge difference. just download and install it from the instructions on the website
Im glad i could help 🙂

when i first saw the news report, i thought ‘cyanide’.
shame he didn’t complete the trial – ‘justice’ would have been good. part of me says i do hope he died in pain, and not ‘peacefully’ in his sleep.

you can use paint, but your paints will be rubbish. not because you are no good (you’re not), but using Paint is like trying to create a Picasso when you have one very old paint brush and a single colour to paint with. Paint, for this type of work is something close to useless.
You would need to use something more advanced. Preferably Adobe Photoshop, but since we are not all millionaires who can afford professional equipment, try and find a cheaper, good quality program. I can’t recommend any programs because i don’t know any. if you are unable to find such painting programs, MS Paint will do if you are learning the basics. (sorry if i sound harsh – I’m not trying to)
the main component that you need is a program called DXTbmp. this is freeware (thank God) and will convert the original textures into something that you can edit using software like Photoshop. DXTbmp is then used to convert your work back into a format that flight sim can use.
fairly simple. it’s just MS Paint that will drag you down unfortunately.
EDIT – http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/programs/dxtbmp.htm
for DXTbmp. go right to the bottom of the page to download. the program takes about half an hour to learn (or discover) the basics.
have fun 🙂
I think its just the brilliant way Adam edits his shots, great as usual
