    eek.

ive realised ive become addicted to ‘flying’ heavies. i have downloaded loads of asian airline 747s becuase it allows me 2 fly 747s and 777s on short routes, without going long haul with them. i thing you’ll see a load more heavies from me over the next few days/decades.

both models are posky, and i flew taipei – hong kong, and beijing – seoul with air china

PS. – tom – how do u get that passenger window view – looks cool.

    thanks

james, i find that most textures on downloaded aircraft take a couple of seconds to load, and most people will first see a grey version of the aircraft when they change view, until the textures load from memory. i haven’t noticed any really long delay for the MD11 – i haven’t had the model long enough to notice any longer than normal delay.

have you got the FSScreen programme?

to pan around an aircraft in the ‘spot’ view, use the number pad with num lock on. try combining numbers by pressing 5 and 6 together, or 1 and 5 etc etc as this will give more views/angles.

i hope thats what you are after

i solved the prob by uninstalling the PAI GA package (realistic regs) and then reinstalling it manually, deleting the aircraft and flightplans that i didn’t want, then recompiling the traffic file.

    thanks

that was one of the reasons i am taking the course – i can have more career choice in the field of aviation if i did this course – i’m aiming to be a pilot, and if i don;t suceed 😮 , i could go into the airport/airline management side with such a degree.
