God….And the UK as probable target. OK, relax….alert not panic. I have read somewhere, probable attacks on ships, churches, cinema and public places. Suicide bombers. colective panic to come and too many warmings. I still think, it will be hard for Alqaeda commiting something big. I don´t think the new video be real. Before the 11 sept. he wanted to crash a plane against our city cathedral because as you know, here is St James shrine and he was was a bad image for muslims because most statues of the saint are on a horse walking over muslims (on a horse) in a battle where the arabs were expelled from Spain. He (Ben Laden) wants to liberate us, the Spaniards (he thinks we are lost brothers, and he used to spend his summer holidays before going nuts in Marbella) from the cristianity and send us back to the Al-Aldalus time, when arabs occupied the whole peninsula except the Northwest. On the 11 sept, all planes which left the city airport weren´t allowed to overfly the city and the incoming planes had to follow the regular patterns. Two fighters were ready to take off in case something odd happened. Now the situation is normal….I find that confidence is not good. I include the city cathedral…..It would terrible missing it.

I still think that the US administration knew that something tough was going to happen. The question is…..did they keep quiet because they consider the attack positive for the administration or they simply didn´t expect such a terrible attack?. I don´t know. I don´t have hints to make me feel inclined for any theory.

Just one event happened to me in one of my trip to the US, on an Armtrak train. I started a conversation with an American on the buffet car.
-“Where are you from?”
-“Spanish”
-Oh wow…..so Did you come by train…..I suppose train conections are good from Spain…..
-I didn´t dare to guess his location of my country on a map.

Well Spanish is my mother language, I am fluent in English and Portuguese. I can comunicate in German and a bit of French and Italian. And I am trying to learn Russian

Making India responsible for that is childish and an excuse. Pakistan has a lot to do in terms of controlling integrism. For years they have been promoting it (even the Talibans were helped by the Pak goverment and supported by their secret service), now they have fed the snake and things are a bit out of control. My oppinion:
Alqaeda.

RE: Train crash kills 6 in UK

Really sad, but I still think the UK has an effective rail system. Of course if has deteriorated but probably many of these crashes are due to bad luck or simply because the UK railway system is one of the busiest one in the world.

RE: Monarch Airlines + Heathrow Link?!!

Monarch is a regular visitor here with charter flights in the summer. Although they usually go to Gatwick/Luton…..this time when I took this shot, I flew to Heathrow.
