Being born in a certain country is purely incedental and I all countries have good and things. So I wouldn´t say proud of, but happy of living…because we can only be proud of what we have responsible for (careers, ability to do something, deeds and so on). I love all countries. AS you know I live in Spain and I enjoy the way the people enjoy life, the caring for family, friends and relatives, and the typical “Savoire faire” of all latin countries concerning to eating, drinking, having fun and taste for art and all that small things which make us particular as fiesta, siesta and so on. I am ashamed of Bullfighting.

Lucky you to be able to generalize like that. Do you know all the palestinians?. We don´t have to suppose that all palesnians suport the criminal attacks. It´s a really simplistic view. Rejecting car bombs, I have to say something to put an end to this topic, because we won´t get any compromise. We tend not be rational and usually talk without knowing the situation. But for me one thing is clear. Israelis need safety and recongnition, but whats is clear too that we are forgetting that they are being ocupied by others for generations. Of course they did a lot to have it but……should you live in the forties in the UK, how would feel if Hitler had invaded the UK?. Were the french resistence, terrorists or fighters for liverty?. Of course I don´t justify these Hamas and Jihad lunatics but I understand the degree of frustration of many palestinians.

Oh guys, I had forgotten a real risky one. Landing over here tends to be rough due to atlantic winds and gusts (usually gales). It was an Spanair MD83 from Madrid. Regular flight and landing on a stormy day. Approached in middle of heavy turbulences, and as we were seeing the forest, it literally collapsed and dropped…..as a huge and big air pocket. It seems that we were impacting against the trees. More power and go up and then down again against the tarmac. Big bump and violent touchdown, the lights went off and the rack opened….ufff. As we were leaving the plane I heard the pilot saying to another pilot in the cocpit….it was a windsheer, a windsheer. His face was pale. I knew what that meant.

I am not so surprised. He has been giving a big support by some people. I want to say something. Democracy is a great thing and we have to defend it at all costs. We have written constitutions and the oppinion of the people should be sacret. But someone who represent an insult to democracy, who manteins no constitutional policies, someone who pretends violating the human rights of minorities shouldn´t be permitted to go to general elections. If the Nazi party is not permitted why this party is allowed. It´s really sad, but sometimes people is not able to vote properly, see Hitler.

Don´t worry Hand87, it is not even worthy answering to this guy.
We have a saying.
“Insulting is an art, and not everyone can´t do it”. Obviously this topic is being deliverately offesive. Don´t let him to continue provocating us. I would say, it´s mainly built in France and that´s why is a fantastic aircraft as most of the French products.

I like the A340, very similar to the IL86/92, but in this case they have just stretched it too much. Planes are nice with the dimensions they originally had.
