    RE: UN vs US

Sometimes, a bit of self critizism helps our countries. I remind you that the US created UN, I remind you that peace was kept for years by UN, peace manteined in many conflicts, wars aborted by the UN, the countries are heard in this forum, and it seems that the rest of the world (who are the majority of this diverse planet, and are not americans)are happy and satisfied with UN. Of course all countries with a hidden sense of guiltiness don´t feel confortable. Castro is not happy with UN, Saddam is not happy with UN, Israel is not happy with UN, and the US which has been boycotting UN, and has made it irrelevant (with other countries)with his incoherent policy for Israel is not happy. Of course, the UN is not perfect, and requires changes. But it´s an essential forum for the world to be heard. It´s quite normal not feeling easy if ones country is being critisized. Of course, there´s anti-americanism. I wonder why. But sometimes it´s not nice and helpful looking at our own belly too much.

    RE: genetic engineering

Nature is wise, so give me good natural food. I don´t know if these products are good or bad, but I seems to me really suspicious that the genetically modified food producers, don´t want the comsumers to know it on the labels of the products. That´s cheating. There are no studies which clearly indicate that these products are safe. So meanwhile I don´t have evidence…NO THANKS
