    RE: Bush versus Castro

As former metropoli we have a special conection with the cuban population. I think the revolution brought some progress in the beginning and was needed but with time everything got ruined, for Castro not being able to release power. Castro is a ditator and not suitable for anyone. However I don´t think he´s a threat for anyone. Simply the cuban community in Miami vote for the republicans and they want the president to be grateful. The embargo is senseless, but the current economic situation is not entirely for the embargo. Lots of countries trade with them at very advantageous conditions. In the future I suppose some improvements of the revolution should be manteined, but Castro should be thinking on elections, there should be a reconciliation of all cubans and for some american politicians they shouldn´t be such much obsessed about tiny Cuba. There´s something I can´t understand. The americans are supposed not be permitted to travel to the island. Are they punished if they do when they come back?. I know there´re not direct flights, but if they travel via other place?. What happens then?. When I stayed in Cuba, I didn´t see any American tourist over there.

RE: There is no such thing as war on terrorism

I suppose we are not target as far as we keep uninvolved, something which is hard to say. Many Alqaeda member have been put under detention here, so we are starting to receive threatens. I suppose integrism wants to keep Europe aside, since they think they could benefits from the US-EU split and by the EU comerce with many arab countries and palestinian support. I don´t trust this, and anything could happen here too.

I do hope so. At least one European team stays. Good luck of Turkey. They deserve it.

It´s being a crazy world cup. The favourites being kick out. The European teams should make a deep analysis. I do expect at least England or Germany do something good. Don´t worry Italy, we´ll revange you….my God¡.

RE: There is no such thing as war on terrorism

i support the US fight against terrorist but not unilateraly. If there are proves of Saddam implication….fine, but as in the Gulf War under the UN. The World against terror as in Afganistan (I still have my doubts about the success of the operation, but OK). And if the Saudis are implicated….OK the same. But it seems that we prefer to look to other side in this case, because they provide us place for bases and petrol. Terrorist rquires a lot of patient and hidden actions. Not attacks against popualations. Terrorists are invisible enemies, new measures will be needed.
