I am not sure about this.This front section was rumoured to be part of an ex R.A.F. Neptune M.R.1.Anyone know any better?

A few more taken at Failsworth August 1978.The first is the Brigand RH746 after the attack by the local vandals and grafiti artists.
Troy,the other Swift was WK214(ex Kirkham).I have a slide of it somewhere but at the moment I can’t locate it.

The last of the night.The ”star” of the yard,world speed record beating Swift WK198.She looks a lot better these days Troy!I hope you enjoyed the photos.They brought back a lot of memories of the mad woman with her dogs and 12-bore shotgun!I will dig out some more tomorrow if you wish?

Whirlwind HAS.7 XG597 Siddal Aug 1978.She was the last piston version of the Whirlwind in service in S.A.R.,based at Warton.She deserved a better fate than this.
