Found this photo of Robbie Low on my pc – saved not that long ago but I can’t remember the details, although it was from fairly recently IIRC?
Oh and now I’ve found this link:
http://www.thesun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/news/2573904/Scottish-RAF-heros-Afghan-mission.html which dates from last year, which means that Robbie is 53 now…. jeeze how time flies eh? 😮
Brunty’s ex-swiss example was avpin start though?
In my time on military Hunters, I came across Avpin and Cart starts, but no electric… I thought any electric starts were purely conversions as mentioned above by Delta etc?
and not forgetting the infamous Tintagel Hunter which flew back inland once the pilot had ejected with the aircraft pointing safely out to sea…
Not sure if this sort of photo might be of interest?
There’s a story behind it – and I was involved…. 😮
http://forum.keypublishing.com/showthread.php?p=1637874 says it moved to Aeropark….
😮 Wow…… that’s amazing 😀
I have just showed the pics to my missus and told her to stop worrying now about my small shed plans for just the one motorbike….. 😀
🙂 That’s a wonderful website, great reading!
That’s nice…….. as replica builds go. Very interesting write-up.
Found the same Video on youtube by the way:

There’s also a couple of inflight ones too…
Are sure someone isn’t having a ‘what if laugh’?
Looks like an Argosy fusalage with a Belfast rear fusalage/ramp area, Skywarrior/B-66 wing, Sabre tail unit, and B-47/36 engine pods – but all in a different scale than normal!
I can see the resemblance….. 😉
😉 Nice find!
Company is now Honeywell Hymatic – might be worth dropping them an email to try and identify it from their archives perhaps?
Struggling with that one – the pic looks like it’s missing the outer body – certainly the locking handle is missing from the rear? Sorry – despite searching I can’t help.:o

Thought I would sneak in this shot of that C130 which I took back in 2009 at Kemble in an attempt to illustrate the scale of the model against some of the smaller new hangars behind the Tower… It’s a mighty impressive model! 😀
Do you have a photo by chance? Some I could recognise from a pic…
Cracking shots Anna – you’ve caught that C130 model really well too…. looks far too real 😀
Good to meet you there as well… 😉
