It was £22 this year. Well worth it if you intend to visit more than a couple of times a year.

well worth it even if you can’t go!
(ps has the winter edition of Propswing been sent out?)

In my view they got the filmaking of PH back to front. Looking at the ‘making of…’ documentary they stress the cgi and how it was storyboarded from there. It is more usual in filmaking to start with a script, storyboard that then work out the shots and cgi.

There is a saying that poor actors can make a mediocre film from a great script, but the best actors in the world can only make a poor film from a poor script.

Must admit I have never seen the end of the film! Saw it in the cinema when it was first released but they were having problems with the projector and abandonded the showing just before the end (somewhere between bombing Japan and reaching China) Got free tickets for another film plus my money back. Spent the rest of the evening in the pub picking out all the mistakes.

A friend then gave me a copy of hte DVD, but have never had the heart or desire to watch it again.

Looks like PIK was busy this weekend.

I heard that on Saturday morning visibility at the west end was 400m, and at the east end 8km 🙂 At Cumbernauld it was struggling to be 200m 🙁

to put up images, If you are not there already go to advanced, then below the message edit box there is an ‘Additional Options’ box. In there, there is a button to ‘manage attachments’. Use this to attach up to 10 images, and dont forget to ‘upload’.

The insert image only puts in the html img tag.
