    Agreed, it’s a great read, unfortunately it’s out on loan just now and it’s murder trying to get it back! 😡

    I got mine for 3 quid frm the Transport Museum 😀 think they still have it

    On the top right of the picture is that a Runway? Looks like it’s roughly running 23/05.

    The main runway at Renfrew lay 08/26 and approx 6000ft
    the short runway was 03/21 and about 4000ft

    in the 1930’s didn’t the chairman of Weir Ltd (as was) travel to the factory at Cathcart by autogyro? so there is a precedant 🙂
